On this night in 2002, the Lehman Cavaliers hosted the Russia Raiders or as former Coach Jerry Fries liked to call them "the Frogs". Lehman was led by Justin Seger, Tom Hartings, Ryan Shaffer and Jimmy Dembski, who was fresh off a suspension. The Cavaliers lost a tough game the previous night at home to Lima Central Catholic.

It was about this time 10 years ago: 2 Thrillers. One at Lehman and One in Gainsville

It was about this time 10 years ago that Lehman hosted Ft. Loramie in Boys Basketball. Lehman was without suspended Guard Jimmy Dembski. Lehman was lead by Justin Seger, Mitch Geise, Nic Staley. The Game went into Overtime as Lehman defeated Loramie by 1 point thanks to two Nic Staley Free Throws.

That same night in Gainsville, Florida hosted Kentucky. Kentucky was coming off a tough home loss to Alabama (a game I was at). Kentucky was up one late and Keith Bogans, who was having a below subpar season drilled a 3 from the right elbow to put Kentucky up four. Tubby Smith went nuts on the sideline. Kentucky would go on to win by 3.

I think it would be pretty neat to see this...

I think it would be super cool to see things like this:

  • A Celtics Vs Lakers Game on a Neutral Court to break the All Time Record for Attendance at a Basketball Game. The two most storied franchise's in NBA history playing on a Neutral Court would be pretty cool.
  • A Flag Football Alumni Game featuring rivals like the 49ers vs Cowboys, Steelers vs Cowboys, Steelers vs Ravens, Bills vs Cowboys, Bills vs Dolphins, Giants vs Cowboys.
I think it would be pretty awesome to see these things take place.
