I realized that I have not posted on here from time to time and I was thinking about this post earlier. Here are some of my favorite sports movies
Hockey: The Mighty Ducks Series. Joshua Jackson and Emilo Estevez made these movies successfull. Joshua Jackson was the heart and soul of the Duck's in the three movies.
Baseball: Little Big League, For Love of the Game, Rookie of the Year, Moneyball
Football: Rudy, Waterboy, Remember the Titan's, Invincible, The Blind Side
Basketball: Hoosiers

About this time 20 years ago... Braves take over the NL West
It was this time in 1992, The Reds were playing good ball, but their nemicious, the Atlanta Braves were about to catch them and did by the time late July came around. With the Starting Rotation of Tom Glavine, John Smoltz and Steve Avery, the Braves took off and never looked back. Bream/Hunter, Lemke, Blauser, Pendelton, Gant, Nixon/Sanders, Justice, with Greg Olson and Damon Berryhill behind the plate, rounded the defense, this team was stacked. They would win their 2nd straight divison title, and make it to the World Series, bowing out to the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series 4-2.

On this night in 2002, The Major League All Star Game was being held at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was a All Star Game that will remembered for ending in a tie. Barry Bonds was robbed of a Home Run by Torri Hunter. The game ended after eleven innings/
