Michigan and Louisville playing for the National Championship

I think its awesome that Michigan and Louisville are playing for The National Championship. It's actually ironic in large part because after the conclusion of the 2001 Mens College Basketball season, Denny Crum retired from Louisville, Brian Ellerbe was fired at Michigan and Rick Pitino resigned as Head Coach of the Boston Celtics in January 2001.

Pitino was offered both vacant jobs. His wife wanted him to Coach at Michigan. But his former Kentucky players wanted him back in the bluegrass state. Michigan hired Tommy Amaker, who led them to an NIT Championship in 2004 and resigned after the 2007 season and John Belien took over.

I think both of these Coaches have done an awesome job this year coaching their teams.
