On January 28, 1996, The Dallas Cowboys took on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XXX in Tempe, Arizona. This was one of the most exciting games in Super Bowl History. The Cowboys jumped out to a 10-0 second quarter lead and then in the 3rd Quarter the Steelers began to mount a rally. The Games most outstanding player, Larry Brown, would have the final say, as his two second half interceptions would derail any hopes for a Steelers comeback. The Cowboys would go on to win Super Bowl XXX 27-17.
On January 28, 2001, The Baltimore Ravens took on the New York Football Giants in Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa Florida. The Ravens tenacious defense would be too much for the Giants. Ray Lewis and the Raven's Defense would lead the Ravens to a 34-7 rout of the Giants claiming their only Super Bowl Championship.
On January 28, 2006, The Dayton Flyers traveled to Cincinnati to take on the pesky Xavier Musketeers. Both teams were struggling at the time. Xavier led Dayton by two with 30 seconds left. Brian Roberts runner in the lane would come up short as the Musketeers would prevail 60-55
