On this day in 2006, Michigan and Ohio State went head to head as #1 and #2 in the Nation, both teams were undefeated going into the game (we may never see that again). The Buckeyes were led by Troy Smith, Ted Ginn, Antiono Pittman. Michigan was led by Chad Henne, Mike Hart and Mario Manningham. Ohio State would defeat the Wolverines 42-39, as Jim Tressel would improve to 5-1 against the Maize and Blue, Troy Smith would go 3-0 against the Wolverines and Chad Henne; one the best Quarterbacks in Big Ten History, would go 0-4 against the Buckeyes.
John Navarre, is the last Michigan Quarterback to beat Ohio State. He lead the Wolverines to a 35-21 victory over the Buckeyes in 2003.
