On this day in 2005, Ohio State hosted Michigan State, Notre Dame hosted Southern California and Michigan hosted Penn State. All three games were thrillers.

Notre Dame and USC played a thriller in South Bend in a game that went down to the final play. Matt Leinart connected on a 4th and 9 with 2:00 minutes left to set up the most memorable 1 yard QB sneak in College Football history. Leinart scored with 3 seconds left thanks from a push from Reggie Bush.
Michigan hosted Penn State. The Nitny Lions led with 5 seconds left, Chad Henne connected with Mario Manningham as time expired as the Wolverines upset the Big Ten Leading Lions.
