Six Years ago tonight, The Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Cincinnati Bengals on ESPN Sunday Night Football. The Bengals came in undefeated at 4-0, even though they should have lost their previous game against the Houston Texans. The Jaguars were lead by Quarterback Byron Leftwich, Running Back Fred Taylor and wide receiver Jimmy Smith. The Bengals were led by a stout defense, Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson, Rudi Johnson and Chris Henry. The Bengals first touchdown was scored by Chad Johnson, who ended up doing CPR on the football in the endzone. The Bengals had the ball late and Palmer was sacked by a Jacksonville Defender and fumbled the ball. The Jaguars defeated the Bengals 23-20.
Today, the Bengals defeated the Jaguars 30-20, their first Victory in Jacksonville since 1995; the Jaguars first year of existence.
