A comeback for the ages... Video Game and NBA 99 Style

It was at this time 10 years ago, when the Phoenix Suns made a memorable comeback against their hated rivals.

The Houston Rockets, who were led by Mitch Geise, Eli Schlater, The Dream, Tony Staley and Tony Cianciolo, led the Phoenix Suns 91-83 with 42 seconds left in overtime. Everyone thought the game was over, just not the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns had Justin Seger, Bryan Olding, Cory Steinke, Tony Delk and I on the floor, it was our three point offense. Cory threw a perfect inbound pass to me over the outstreched hand of Tony Staley as a drilled a "one in a million 3 pointer". After a Cianciolo turnover, the Suns quickly raced the ball up the floor, I found Tony Delk on the right wing for a three to bring us to with in two.

After another Rockets Gaffe, we had the ball with 20 seconds left down two and were struggling to find the best shot possible, I hit a runner in the lane to tie the game at 91 with 9 seconds left.

This was the day after I got my wisdom teeth pulled and I hated the Rockets for trading me as well and I wanted to give them a small payback for what was about to come.

After a Houston missed shot, the Suns would have the ball at mid court, stage was set for a perfect ending to a great comeback.

I hit a three pointer from the right wing as time expired to give us a 94-91 victory, ending overtime on a 11-0 run.

The Suns and Rockets would meet in the playoffs, with the Suns upsetting Houston 4-1, three of the four Suns Victories in the series were by a combined 5 points
